You’ll find many gated communities in the Naples Area, but they are NOT all created equal. As mentioned in the Gated Communities page, some gated communities offer a higher level of security and privacy than others.
This interactive map shows which communities have a fully staffed guardhouse and which merely have an pass key controlled automatic gate.
Shown in red are the gated communities with a staffed guardhouse at ALL entrances. These are the most secure gated communities and are suited for those who value security and privacy and want the utmost protection that a gated community can offer.
You will find gated communities with a guard at the front gate, but a pass key controlled automatic back gate shown here in orange. These neighborhoods offer some of the security benefits of a fully staffed guardhouse, but the convenience of a second entry point.
In yellow are the gated communities with a pass-key controlled automatic gate. These neighborhoods are less secure than fully guarded gated communities, but often offer lower HOA fees. These gates are mostly “privacy gates” and not true security gates.
